We will of course still be offering inclusive luxury
vacations with guides, chauffeurs and every detail taken
care of.
But for the more independently minded the customised
itinerary will give you the freedom to make your own
arrangements while ensuring you get the most from your
time here in Wales. You still benefit from our insider
knowledge both of family history resources and those
hidden gems of Wales off the beaten track.
How it works
It's quite simple.
- Let us know your requirements
including: tour length, how many in your party, what
standard of accommodation you require, what you know
of your family's Welsh roots, and any special interests
or places you would like to include on your trip.
- We will email you back a quote
for the tour programme along with a brief outline of
the itinerary
- You can then either email us or call
for a chat with your feedback and we will make any
necessary adjustments
- Once you've approved the
outline we will send you a secure link for payment.
Once we've received payment we will finalise
the programme and send you a full tour programme pack
.
Your programme
You'll receive
an unique specially-printed booklet which we will mail
to you in plenty of time for your trip.
The booklet comprises:
- Day-by day itinerary including what to see on your
route
- Full information about the
places you'll be visiting including opening times,
admission costs, historical context and interesting
facts
- Day by day driving directions
including maps, turn-by-turn instructions, distances
and times
- Hints and advice on driving
in Wales, especially dealing with our "roundabouts"!
- Full details of car
rental including websites for booking
- Suggestions for
accommodation en route - again with website and contacts
for booking
- Suggestions for places to
eat (don't forget to advise us of special dietary needs)
- General tips
to ensure a memorable stay including a few phrases
of Welsh
